ALLOY 20 is a nickel-chromium type of alloy with an austenitic structure. It has several beneficial properties which makes it the better choice for the construction of different tubes and pipes. It comprises of amazing corrosion resistance properties in extreme environments of acids like sulphuric acids and other aggressive media.

The addition of niobium makes it stabilized and therefore is capable of intergranular corrosion resistance. The other favorable characteristic includes cost-effectiveness. This material is cheaper when compared to other nickel-based alloys. Moreover, it performs better than the standard types of stainless steel.
